It is important to ask the parents of the children that you have looked after to sign a leaving child form, parents are signing to agree that they will no longer be claiming any form of monetary government funding / assistance in relation to the child's fees at your setting, this form will act as evidence as to when the child left your setting should you be contacted by any government agency in relationship to claims the parents may be making after the child has left your setting.

Key Areas of the Leaving / Left Children section

Record the exact date each child left your setting / care.
Both parents and an administrator can sign the form agreeing the date the child left the setting.
Parents are signing to agree that they will no longer be claiming any form of monetary government funding / assistance in relation to the child's fees at this setting.

Leaving Children Overview

The Leaving / Left Children overview page allows you to see at a glance all the Leaving / Left Children forms that have been created for children on the system, whether they have been signed by the parents and yourself and you can see at a glance the digital signatures along with the date and time each form was signed by parents and yourself for each child.

Creating a new form for a child is a simple process of selecting the child's name from a drop down list of children on the system, only one form can be created for each child on the system.

View / Sign Leaving Child

When viewing the child's form, both child's parents can digitally sign the form, they read the legal information and then sign, their signature along with their full name and the date and time they signed is stored on the system.

Once one or both parents have signed, you can then counter sign the form, again the signature along with your full name, the date and time you signed is stored on the system, once signed, the form then becomes a legal document.
